Oldest tree on the planet is 9,550 years old

I found a cool article about a 9,550 year old spruce tree located in Sweden within the province of Dalarna. The tree doesn't look very epic but still, over 9,000 years. Impressive. I don't always believe that scientists are dead on with their estimates, remember, the world was believed to be flat a few hundred years ago. It was a stated fact. But even if they are off by a few hundred years..or even a few thousand..that is one ancient tree. Been around for the fall and rise of many empires, from King Tut to President Obama.....The tree could be around long after my bones turn to dust... I think I would grow bored after a few hundred years, so I got no problem with that.
