Aliens In 35mm Print Tonight!!!

So me and the Juice kind of dropped the ball on giving you people sufficient notice that "Aliens" will be back in theaters for a single showing in 35mm print tonight.
The film will shown at Empire 6 Theaters, which is in Dartmouth on 650 Portland Street.
The movie starts at 9pm, if you want a ticket I recommend buying one online from Empire
or showing up very early to the theater.

For more information on Thrillema and the movies they will be presenting in the near future, try joining Thrillema's facebook group.

If your feeling lazy, just wait a day or two and I will post a better explanation on what Thrillema is all about. I will also tell you about the people behind this great idea and what movies they plan to show in the next little while.

As you may or may not know, "Aliens" is the Juice's favorite movie. He can probably recite all the character's lines. He got me into the Alien series back in the day by throwing the old VHS copy of "Aliens" into his VCR. Soon as the movie ended, I was hooked. This lead me to watch the Alien Vs. Predator movies and to spend a lot of time playing AVP game online at the Juice's house.

"Aliens" was nominated for seven Oscars and managed to take two home (Best Effects, Sound Effects Editing and Best Effects, Visual Effect). The movie came out in 1986 and was directed by the legendary James Cameron ("Titanic", "Terminator", "The Abyss", etc). "Aliens" is the sequel to the original "Alien" film and stars Sigourney Weaver as Ellen Ripley.

I'm not going to try and explain the plot, because it would take a great deal of time. So let me just say that this is an action movie with great visuals, writing and actors. It has and will continue to stand the test of time as it is a masterpiece.

Check Out the Trailer! and if you can't make it out, you can always rent the movie.
