Scientists Film HIV "bridge"

Scientists from UC Davis university in California along with Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York have become the first people to film the HIV virus spreading. The video is really creepy when you think about what is really being shown, the spreading of one of the deadliest virus's on the planet. An infected cell is shown connecting with a healthy one, this "bridge" is called virological synapse. Here is what the discovering group had to say - "Our findings may explain why attempts to develop an HIV vaccine have so far been unsuccessful." "The more we know about this mode of transfer, the better chance we have of figuring out how to block it and the spread of HIV and Aids." Lots of " trial and error " research is needed for something on this scale. After reading a bit of information on the virus itself, I have come to the obvious conclusion that this is one tricky little fucker, unlike any other. Respect to the people out there trying their hardest to help in this battle, one day this will all be a thing of the past.
