Tons of RE news.

So Resident Evil 5 is being released tomorrow, FUCK YEAH. It was announced a while ago that the game would include an online/offline co-op option. What wasn't mentioned was a versus mode, until now. Capcom has finally come out with the details, here is 1up's description of what to expect- " This DLC is planned to arrive "a few weeks" after the game's release, and will be priced at $4.99 on the PlayStation Store, or 400 Microsoft points on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Included will be a free-for-all and team-based death match for four players, as well as a mode where players compete for a higher zombie kill count." $5 for death match with zombies running around, done.

Also announced in the past couple days is a sequel to Wii's Resident Evil shooter "Resident Evil: Chronicles". The sequel is titled Resident Evil: Dark Side Chronicles and will be a lot like the first. By that I mean it will be a straight up shooter like House of the Dead or Virtua Cop. The story will go along with the events of Resident Evil 2, the game a lot of people consider the best RE to date. I really liked the first Chronicles, it was fun in small doses especially with a buddy and a few cold ones. It's a shame though, I would probably own a Wii if it wasn't for the poor selection of games it has. Here is a trailer for Dark Side Chronicles-
