Call of Duty MW 2...in third person?

There was a video leaked a few days ago showing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 being played from a 3rd person perspective, while this may not be big news to everyone it certainly is to the people who have been playing Call of Duty in 1st person mode since the beginning. Recently this video was confirmed by the developers and the game will indeed include a 3rd person mode, no need to stress out, this mode will only be playable online and will only be in games that the admin has set up to run that way. So if you wanna stay 1st person, you have that option. This is gearing up to be one of the largest entertainment releases of all time, the developers know they can't switch the formula up entirely but at least they experimenting a bit for those who are more open minded to new style of playing. Here is the official statement courtesy of IGN.com

"Update: Infinity Ward Community Manager Robert Bowling has confirmed the 3rd person perspective to Joystiq, saying "It's not something you can toggle on and off in ANY game. The special mode can only be played in private matches -- toggled on or off just like "Hardcore" settings -- or in playlists that are designated for third-person play," he said. "This is just another cool way to play the game, you obviously will still have the option to play gametypes normal as well." IGN followed up with Bowling confirming the accuracy of that report."
