Old school Halifax Skateboarding from in and around 1989. A Santa Cruz demo in a Dartmouth arena with Jeff Hedges, who's now got to be in his fifty's, skating the skinniest grey vert ramp I've ever seen, Pre-street skating days, no 20 stair handrails, Tony Hawk or EA Skate back then. hell. 89 was when skaters realized you could skate a curb(I've got the 89 skate mag with curbs featured as the new hot thing, yes that's curbs, as in the side of the street) and here's a glimpse into that scene right here in our good old home town. all i want to know, where are all those haligonians now?(Steve Murphy excluded).
