Some warmth for a cold day

I posted about this story a while back, didn't have the full video at the time though. Honestly, this story will never get old for me. Christian the Lion was saved from a life of abuse and imprisonment by John Rendall and Anthony "Ace" Bourke who bought it from the Harrods department store in London in 1969. They than reintroduced him into the wild with the help of conservationist George Adamson, a year after the two leave the lion with George they go back to visit, the reaction is a powerful reminder to the strength of friendship and the bond animals and humans can share. People like Anthony, John and George remind me that there are some amazing people out there, going out of their way to help animals that live an existence of misery and imprisonment. In one word, Epic.
