Frozen in time

Mt. Everest is world known for being both incredibly beautiful and brutally rugged, even by professional climbers standards. Though the mountain has been conquered there are many who lost their lives on the strive for the top, just above the kill zone (about 26,000 feet) lay an estimated 200 bodies, retrieval at this height and temperature being near impossible.

This body has actually become a land-mark for climbers since 1996

Here's one of George Mallory where he has lain since falling to his death in 1924
