Put some gollddd on it
Just throwing out a congratulations to the women's Olympic Canadian Hockey team. They are bringing home gold after a 2-0 defeat over USA. As a guy that wasn't really interested in hockey until this years Olympics, you guys played a great game, all that hard work has payed off yet again. So proud of our athletes this year, you make us all a little giddier to be Canadian. You girls kick ass!
Metal Gear Solid (5)
Found some interesting information at the-magicbox about the upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker title. I am a huge fan of the series but have yet to actually play one of the portable entries. These games really don't hold back, not only are they fun and absorbing but they actually cast light on some real world issues. Metal Gear is one of the few series that hasn't sold out, even after 10 plus games they have maintained a level of quality that few developers achieve. I have included a trailer from last years E3. MAD respect Konami, you helped mold a generation to think outside the box.
- Kojima Production's PR manager Jiro Oishi mentioned that the PSP game Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker was originally called Metal Gear Solid 5, he believes that the game's content is at the highest level of the MGS main series.

Leopard Seal
Found some pretty crazy pics courtesy of Telegraph showing the Leopard Seal in action. Leopard Seals are known for their incredible size and strength, they are also known for being some of the slickest hunters in the sea. They are the second largest type of seal on the planet and their only known natural predators are Orca and large sharks. This makes the Leopard Seal the top predator in the Antarctic, dangerous even to humans(though rarely). Beautiful but potentially dangerous. I gotta give it up to the photographer Paul Nicklen , shots like these are incredibly risky due to the unpredictable habits of the animal, they are sometimes known to "play" with their prey before turning on them. Not in this case though.
UPDATE*** Photographer Paul Nicklen shares his experiences with the creature and it may not be what you think.
