Let's not let Tigers be a thing of the past

Tigers, they are on our cereal boxes, in our stories, our movies, our nursery rhymes & our books...Yet everyday we are driving them to the brink of extinction....The wild lands of Asia in the early 1900's was home to more than 100,000 tigers, now it contains barely 3000. If this trend continues tigers could actually be gone in the next 12 years, right in time for the next Chinese "Year of the Tiger". The World Wildlife Foundation has a goal to double the number of tigers in the next few years by offering safe, poacher free zones.

How can you help? Spread the word!

WWF TX2 Info-

WWF's Tx2 campaign aims to double the wild tiger population by the next Chinese Year of the Tiger in 2022. Tx2 seeks both immediate emergency measures to save the tiger, as well as a long-term foundation for securing the future of this beautiful animal.

We are focusing our efforts on:

- Securing emergency funds to stop poaching in the most critical tiger landscapes

- Securing political will and action to double wild tiger numbers

- Protecting tiger habitat at an unprecedented scale, including clamping down hard on the illegal tiger trade.
